If you have owned a yacht or are contemplating yacht ownership you either know or are about to learn, it ain’t cheap. Ignoring for a moment the cost of the boat lets look at annual load. You will likely need a yacht club membership in order to get a marina which is extra. You will cough up for insurance, launch, haul-out, winterizing and winter storage, hull cleaning and painting, repairs and maintenance. It’s relentless. For a 30 foot power boat it’s at least $15K per year. At least.

Then of course to get this party started, you need to buy a boat. You might find a decent, used 30 footer in “good working condition” for $40K. It will never be worth more. You know this going in, right?

Members book online and step aboard a charter ready, fully provisioned, fuelled up yacht on a schedule. Want a driver? Lifestyle has fully qualified captains available for hire. Members pay for their fuel and other consumables.
